Outstanding Service Brings National Award: Encore Telesolutions Wins CAM-X Award of Excellence
Encore TeleSolutions, of Barrie, ON has been honoured with the exclusive 2009 Award of Excellence for the Seventh consecutive year. The award is presented annually by the Canadian Call Management Association (CAM-X), the industry's Trade Association for providers of call centre services including telephone answering and message delivery. Encore TeleSolutions was presented with the award recently at the CAM-X 45th Annual Convention and Trade Show held at the Delta Grand Okanagan, Kelowna BC.
Independent judges are contracted by CAM-X to evaluate message services throughout Canada over a six-month period. The criteria for scoring include courtesy, response time, accuracy and overall service to their clients. If the company scores 80% or better in ALL categories, they are presented with the coveted Award of Excellence. The program is now in its 20th year.
"The Award of Excellence Program offers the industry the kind of quality testing and benchmarking that is essential to help establish the kind of service levels that are being demanded by our customers." Says CAM-X President Mary Ann Straw. "We congratulate Encore TeleSolutions for their achievements."
Founded in 1964, CAM-X began as a national trade Association representing live answering services. The Canadian Call Management Association now encompasses companies across Canada offering specialized and enhanced operator based services including: call centres, contact centres, inbound telemarketing (order entry), paging, voice messaging, emergency dispatch, fax, and internet services among others.
Now a seven-time winner Encore TeleSolutions earned the Emerald Award for seven consecutive years. CAM-X extends its congratulations to the staff of Encore TeleSolutions on their proven quality service to their customers.

CAM-X's total Breast Cancer Research Fundraising surpasses $100,000.00
The Canadian Call Management Association (CAM-X) continues to support Breast Cancer Research at its Annual Convention & Trade Show held in St. John's, NL October 16-19, 2007
Grimsby, ON, November 2, 2007 - In 2004 CAM-X raised $20,000 in support of breast cancer research followed by $34,000.00 in 2005 and $28,000.00 in 2006. This year, with the support of both CAM-X members and CAM-X vendors, the Association raised just over $23,000.00 bringing the grand total to $105,000.00 in four short years.
The silent auction for breast cancer research was such a success last year that it was decided to maintain the same format for this year's annual Tradeshow and Conference. It was also felt that breast cancer is such a relevant and significant cause that efforts again should be targeted towards this charity. This year's silent auction was held in conjunction with a Charity Casino night on Thursday, October 18, 2007.
Items donated included a glorious week at a Deleware beach house, a Montreal weekend experience for 6, a sin-dulgance weekend in Charleston, SC, a weekend at Camp Verbier, Northern, ON, a Leap Of Fair museum quality print, IPODs and much more.
"CAM-X Members and Vendors continue to amaze us. By including the silent auction at the last three conferences, we have raised over $82,000.00 in support of this worthy cause. Our members are generous and big hearted." said CAM-X Executive Director Linda Osip.
