PCI Compliance

PCI Compliance As of October 2011, Encore TeleSolutions is one of the few call centres across Canada that is PCI-compliant. This gives our clients the peace of mind in knowing that their customers' sensitive information is safe, regardless of the method we use to collect it, including online and over the phone.

We can now proudly display the Trustwave seal of Information Security & Compliance on the right-hand sidebar of our website.

In order to become compliant we had to meet a stringent set of requirements and laws set out by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) – an independent association made up of the five major credit card companies: American Express, Discover Financial, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International. They create and update security standards to protect cardholders' account data, and validate that vendors are abiding by these standards.

We had to carefully scrutinize our systems, processes and policies, in some cases, we had to implement new equipment, procedures and work practices.

It was well worth the effort to be able to demonstrate our commitment to security and privacy, and to help our clients take care of their customers.
